I've been debating on writing about my experience, but I'm finally on my final straw with the cause-and-effect of their actions. I had a molar that they did a root canal on 5-6 years ago, which also had a retreatment back then. This past year, I was sent back by my general dentist after experiencing some aching/sensitivity around that tooth. When I went, my options were to remove the tooth OR try to "save" it with another retreatment using their new fancy water machine. Of course, I chose to try to save it. What I wasn't told? I wasn't told that there was a possible fracture seen on the x-rays. HAD I KNOWN, I would've chosen to have my tooth removed and not a wasted my money...which is what happened. Over $500 later, they did the retreatment. The pain never went away. I come back to to be shown that there was a potential fracture (on the ORIGINAL x-rays prior to retreatment)....and she even put stuff in there during the treatment that's supposed to help bone regeneration....which I was also not told about. Dr. Carson DID give me a check for 2/5 of the cost of the retreatment...whether that was hush money or what...idk, but that 2/5 is only from what I paid after insurance, they

Went in for a root canal and was seen by Patrick, his bedside manor was alright except when we asked for guidance along the way by him telling us what he was going to do before he did it due to some dental trauma we've had in the past, he treated it as bizarre and said it was too extreme for him. Saying that we just needed to let him work otherwise it would be a huge distraction having to talk us through his steps before he did it. He got quite an attitude about it. Albeit during the procedure he ended up doing exactly what we had asked him to do and even started rambling about other topics that didnt even have to do with the steps he was taking. He was talking to us and his dental assistant like it was second nature. Am not sure why their was a disconnect with having to ask him to tell us what he was going to do before he did it and just doing it anyways but we are glad he ended up talking through the steps. What we also didnt like is him talking about trust and being brave like we were 8, kept comparing us to their 8 year old patients. People with dental trauma shouldn't be treated like trust and being brave is supposed to come easy and that any help in the regard of just getting

I was referred to Carson Endodontics by my wonderful Dentist of more than 30 years,Dr. Steven Carroll with CCL Family Dentistry in Portsmouth. I immediately felt at ease during my evaluation by Dr.Patrick Petley and his dental assistant, Mindy. I was impressed by the professional, state of art equipment which was able to provide 3D imaging of my hairline crack in my bottom tooth. I had mistakingly been telling Dr. Carroll that the immense pain was coming from an upper tooth. The 3D xray was able to identify what regular xray vision could not. The level of compassion for my level of pain and need to be available for essential medical appointments was met with unbelievable effort and coordination by the office team; especially Dr. Petley and assistant , Mindy . I experienced immediate relief of most symptoms. Dr.Petley is amazingly skilled with a refreshing chairside manner. I am thankful for the referral to this practice by my Dentist. Ashlyn at front desk was super helpful and courteous and Office Manager Kim ,helped to coordinate an accommodation that was necessary for my overall health. Carson Endodontics is top tier and highly recommended!

My experience with Dr. Carsons office was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in to the time I got up from her chair, everyone treated me with a level of care, patience, and genuine compassion that immediately put me at ease. She walked me through everything, made sure I felt comfortable, and handled everything with such precision and gentleness. What truly amazed me is that I haven’t had a single moment of pain since leaving her office on Wednesday morning. Not one. It’s rare to find a provider whose skill and bedside manner are equally exceptional, but Dr. Carson embodies both effortlessly and her leadership shows in her amazing staff. I left her office feeling not just relieved, but genuinely grateful. THANK YOU DR. CARSON!
